全片给人一种憨豆特工的感觉。德普极力卖弄，如罗文阿特金森一样的装疯卖傻，念白含糊不清，与忠仆搞笑互动，刻意制造英式幽默，但最终效果却远不如憨豆先生原汁原味与货真价实。不过值得一提的是电影配乐，英伦摇滚与沙俄交响，都适时出现，令人耳前一亮
